ProBassAnglers.com Angler Of The Year-2005
There are 41 professional anglers competing on both professional tours for the 2005 season. While there are two tour Angler Of The Year Awards available, there will always be some doubt as to which pro, truly had the best season. The winner of the FLW tour can correctly claim to be a world champion. The winner of the BASS tour can also correctly claim to be a world champion. But which tour pro can legitimately lay claim to the title? The ProBassAnglers.com, "Angler Of the Year" will be the angler who performs best during the 2005 tour season. "Tour Season" implies that the winner of this award will compete on both circuits. ProBassAnglers.com has developed a formula that weighs the results of both tours and gives them equal weight within our point system.
Criteria-
This award will take the results from each tour's events. The purpose is to crown the season's top angler.
Points are given based on a pro's performance at every tour level event for 2005
Points are award based on three categories: Place Points (100-1st, 99-2nd, 98-3rd, ...1-99th) Weight Points (38.12=38.12 pts.) Fish Points (each fish caught = 1 pt.)
