Nighswonger's Brush PileFor those of you who are just now becoming familiar with what I do, I have a boss who is a "big shot." He is arrogant, ignorant and quite frankly, a pain in the bass. So what is such a big deal about that? He tends to stick his big nose into things that he has no knowledge about, and I usually end up having to put out the fires that he starts. What do you do when your boss wants to interview you?

UV-Yes, I'm sure you do, since we at ProBassAnglers.com set the standard for the independent reporting of professional fishing events, what can you tell us about the significance of this event?
Keith-Very significant.
UV-It has been said that the ProBassAnglers.com-Angler Of the Year race is the most significant angler of the year race in all of professional fishing. It is the only measurement in the sport of professional fishing that places all professional anglers on an even playing field, FLW Tour anglers, FLW Series Anglers and BASS Elite Series anglers. It uses a very complex scoring system that goes beyond simple Logarithms. The ProBassAnglers.com Angler Of the Year incorporates difficult Al Gore Rhythms, Jungle Rhythms, Syncopation and complex, three column addition. We felt that more we could confuse people with our criteria, the more impressed they would be.

UV-I'm thinking about doing some self promotion in the next few weeks. You know, interview myself, it is a proven model within our industry, that way you don't get any embarrassing questions that are difficult to answer. Of course, I would be ProBassAnglers.com, and then I would ask myself a question, that I had pre written and of course approved. I would be sure to lead myself towards what I would want to say anyway.
Keith-Are we not feeling good about ourselves today? Do we need a little attention?
UV-All the other guys do it. I want to quote myself on something, I want to be important.
