Founding Father, CEO, Pres-a-dent-ty, Universal Visionary, Keith Nighswonger is announcing an all cash payout of $2,000,000.00 for his up coming "Super-Fantastic Fun Tournament" which will be open to all anglers, and will be held some time in the Spring of 2008.

The following transcript is from Nighswonger's Press Conference held Monday morning, November 19th. 

UV-Thank you all for attending today's press conference.  It is with the utmost enthusiasm that I am happy to announce the first $2,000,000.00, all cash bass tournament ever to be held.  The first place prize of $1,000,000.00 will be awarded as a brief case full of neatly stacked one hundred dollar bills, just like all the cool bad guys have in those tv movies.  The remaining $1,000,000.00 will be distributed throughout the rest of the field, as we will pay down to 500th place!

The date of the event is still not to be announced, as we are hopping to stack it on top of the Bassmaster Classic, and at least a couple of FLW Tour events, so that we can draw anglers away from those tours for a real chance to fish for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

The event will be one month long with the actual fishing taking place on a single day.  We believe that it will take about 3 weeks to launch the field, but only about 2 hours to weigh in all of the fish.  The event will take place at Southern California's Lake Perris, which is noted as a difficult lake, with no underwater structure and very little cover.  The marina will be off limits so you won't be able to fish the docks, which tend to hold all of the fish in the lake.  We think pros will like the challenge of fishing for ONE MILLION DOLLARS at such a difficult lake, as they are regularly forced to fish in such "fishless" lakes as Toho, Okeechobee, Wheeler and Beaver.

Entry details are posted below, but I believe what anglers will appreciate most is the $3.00 entry fee that does not include the the lake's $10.00 launch fee.  The pay back and official rules are posted below.

*Payback based on 1,000,000 boats with full paid entry of $3.00 per boat.  24 hour, round the clock boat launch will begin three weeks before the event, official tournament hours are from safe light on Saturday, until 3:00 PM.  We will have 900,000 flights.  There will be no awards dinner, briefcases full of cash will be awarded after the final angler has weighed in.
