A tear dropped shaped split ring that is made out of Shape Memory Alloy.  The Ultimate Lure Saver is a split ring that is designed to release hooks that are snagged into logs or rocks or other obstructions, BUT NOT FISH!

Add the Lure Saver to crank baits, rip baits and top waters and you will get your bait back 100% of the time.  ProBassAnglers.com was skeptical and asked about losing fish.  If we hadn't seen it with our own eyes, we would never have believed it.  The amount of pressure you can provide to fighting a fish is greatly reduced by the flex of your fishing rod.  The fish is not coming off.  When undoing a snag, you point your rod tip to the snag and pull back, thus eliminating the rods' ability to absorb the pressure, the lure comes back, you add a new hook and go back to fishing.
